e-MC / EMERGENCE CONSULTANT GROUP is a company based in Benin that provides professional communication solutions, including SMS services, SMS API, messaging and WhatsApp Business solutions.

2. Data we collect
When you use our contact form, we may collect:
- first and last name;
- company name;
- job title, if you provide it;
- email address;
- phone number;
- country;
- website, if you provide it;
- services or solutions you are interested in;
- estimated monthly volume, if you provide it;
- subject of your request, where offered;
- the content of your message;
- confirmation of your consent to the processing of this information.
When the form is submitted, we also receive some technical information: the page and language the request comes from, as well as your IP address and the information sent by your browser, which are used to verify the request and to limit repeated or abusive submissions.
If you communicate with us by email or on WhatsApp, we receive the information you share in those exchanges.
We do not ask, through the contact form, for personal data that is not necessary to process your request.
3. Why do we use this data?
The information submitted through the form may be used to:
- reply to your request;
- contact you about your project;
- provide you with the information or services you requested;
- qualify your business inquiry;
- ensure the security of the form and prevent abuse.
We do not use form data to sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
4. Basis for processing
We process the information you send us in order to reply to your request and, where relevant, to prepare a possible business relationship.
The form includes a checkbox by which you agree that e-MC may process this information to reply to your request. By using our contact form, you confirm that you have read this privacy policy.
5. Recipients of the data and service providers
The information submitted through the form is accessible to the people within e-MC who need to process it to reply to your request.
The form is processed by a script hosted with the website, which forwards your request by email to e-MC through a secure mail server. Requests are not stored in a database on the website.
To ensure the technical operation of the website and the form, some data may be processed by our technical service providers:
- the website host and our email provider, which receive and store emails;
- Cloudflare Turnstile, used to protect against automated submissions and abuse: it receives technical information related to your browser and your IP address;
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, used for aggregated traffic statistics of the website;
- WhatsApp, if you contact us through that channel: the exchange is then subject to the terms of that service.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep the information received as part of a contact request for as long as necessary to process it and to follow up on the relationship with the requester. We do not currently set a single retention period: it depends on the nature of the request and on what follows.
When the data is no longer needed, it may be deleted in accordance with our internal practices and our legal obligations.
To limit abuse, the form uses a per-IP submission counter, kept in a non-readable form (a hash) and automatically purged after a short delay, in the order of one hour.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information sent to us against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
The form notably uses validation mechanisms, a limit on the number of submissions, protection against automated submissions, and a secure connection to the mail server. As no system is completely infallible, however, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies and third-party services
The website does not use advertising cookies, and we do not share your personal data with advertisers.
The website may use technologies that are necessary for its operation, for the security of its forms and for measuring its traffic. When a third-party service is used, it may set or read its own identifiers:
- Cloudflare Turnstile, when the contact form is displayed, for abuse detection;
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, which provides aggregated traffic statistics (pages viewed, country, device type). According to Cloudflare, this tool does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors.
These services are subject to their own privacy policies.
9. Data transfers
Some of our service providers (email, Cloudflare, WhatsApp) may process data outside Benin. Using the form may therefore involve a transfer of your data to other countries, as part of the operation of these services.
10. Applicable framework
e-MC is established in Benin and processes personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation, in particular Benin law on the protection of personal data (the Digital Code) and the recommendations of the competent authority (APDP).
Depending on where you live, other data protection rules may also apply to you, to the extent that they are applicable.
11. Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may in particular request:
- access to the personal data we hold about you;
- correction of that data when it is incorrect;
- deletion of that data where possible;
- restriction of certain processing;
- information about how your data is used.
